Parent Guardian Guide to Statewide Testing and Refusal to Test Form
Fall Testing:
PSAT-NMSQT- Due to being in distance learning for the first quarter, we are not offering the PSAT-NMSQT to juniors in the 20-21 school year.
Fall/Winter Testing- Only if in person (hybrid or fully in person):
ALL Freshmen and Sophomores take the NWEA in Reading and Math to satisfy goals created for our authorizer, University of St. Thomas and for our QComp plan. Data will be stored and kept by the Director of Teaching and Learning. The tests are untimed and take approximately an hour each. We use the data from Fall NWEA testing to determine curricular changes or areas of improvement and to place students in remedial courses as necessary.

Students in 9th and 10th in math classes will take their “spring” subject test in class at the end of the semester.
