This Week’s Schedule
Tomorrow Minnesota House of Representative Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn will be visiting PiM. She’ll be here to see what we do, and to get a better understanding of charter schools. Thursday we will have a Community of Creatives assembly – with a special guest that will address the importance of the arts. Friday a representative from our authorizer – The University of St. Thomas – will be here for a site visit. This is a big week. Let’s put our best foot forward!
Sound and Light Board Flex
Still not sure what you want to do for Flex tomorrow? Why not learn new skills that you can put to use to support PiM’s performing arts? Join PiM Crew for a training on the White Box light and sound boards during Flex tomorrow. All experience levels are welcome!
Satanism Club
In by-the-book Satanism, Satan is not a real being but instead a “symbol of personal freedom and individualism.” The practices reject mainstream religion, instead encouraging followers to spend their energy on bettering themselves for the sake of themselves. If you’re curious, or already a Satanist and looking for those with similar beliefs, come by room 118 after school tomorrow!
NO SHAME
Congrats to all those who performed in last Friday’s NO SHAME! If you missed out or are wanting to perform at the next NO SHAME start planning now! The next NO SHAME is on the Friday evening of the start of Winter Break – December 20th. We would love a great kick-off to winter break showcasing your talents! Applications for the next NO SHAME are due on December 5th.
PiM Crew Meeting
Speaking of PiM Crew, there will also be a PiM Crew meeting in Room 122 during Block 5 this Wednesday! We’ll be discussing tech opportunities for the next part of the season (late December through February), which includes the competition One Act and the spring musical! Please email Mr. Kvale if you are interested but unable to make it to Wednesday’s meeting.
