Countdown
Thirteen school days till Graduation.
Word of the Day
Givi Stoner’s word of the day is fika. Which is a Swedish word that literally means a coffee break but more than that means a moment to slow down and appreciate life. Fika.
Diversity & Inclusion Club @ the art market
Do you want to sell your art at the Art Market but don’t want to go through the hassle of getting your own booth? Are you a BIPOC student at PiM? Let the Diversity & Inclusion Club sell it for you! A negotiable amount of your profits will go to support the future of Diversity & Inclusion at PiM. Scan the QR code on any Diversity & Inclusion Club poster.
Lettering at PiM Arts High School
Students have the opportunity to letter in their specific arts discipline. Each area uses a 300-point scale, and your art teacher should have explained the specific requirements for lettering within your program.
If you have qualified for a letter, your art teacher will notify you. Once that happens, keep an eye out for an email from Mr. Leaf with details on how to order your letter patches and, if you’re interested, a Letter Jacket.
PiM Zoo
This Thursday before the Dance Concert, come to the Loading Dock Theatre to see BJ Rock as Linne’s Two Toed Sloth, Frank Hopper as the North American Beaver, Zayne Schultzas the Black and White Colobus Monkey and Ellie Peterson as the Komodo Dragon.
Senior Send-Off Pictures
Email them to Monty by THIS Friday!
Graduation Art Gallery
Arts Council will curate a slide show to honor the graduating seniors’ digital and visual art over the years. To have your art included, please complete the Google Form found in the Advisory Google Classroom. Submissions will be closed on Thursday, May 15th.
