Voter Registration Drive Next Week!
“Headcount.org is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that has led voter registration drives on the Harry Styles and Ariana Grande tours, in addition to events such as RuPaul’s DragCon and various Pride events and festivals across the country. – One of the initiatives they work on every year is participating in National Voter Registration Day which this year falls on September 16th. Throughout this week they set up at local community spaces, schools and events where they can reach members of the community to make sure everyone is registered to vote and has all the necessary information to be civically engaged no matter what their political persuasion.” – Headcount will be here next Wednesday, September 17th during lunches and will be bringing the necessary tools to either pre-register 16+ students, register 18+ students, and will have a “make a button” activity along with some already made “future voter” and “VOTE” pins.
